Respected Prime Minister,
New Delhi, India.
Last evening I found some of the teen age lads were smoking cigarette, when I opposed them they said “when my Dad don’t have problem who are you to say”. This is happening with Indian Political System.
My Grandfather is big supporter of yours. Through him, we came to know much about your power, knowledge, commitment for work. When I was going for vote, I have no doubt in mind to whom I should vote for else than you. But today after your press conference you prove me and many more, it was a wrong decision.
In our school days, we were learnt about Indian Political System. Teachers very proudly teaches us for the greatness of Indian Political System. From books I came to learn, India is the world's most populous & powerful democracy. In India, the Prime Minister of India is identified as the head of government of the nation, while the President of India is said to be the formal head of state and holds substantial reserve powers, placing him or her in approximately the same position as the British monarch.
If what we learnt is right and if you really have this much power, many of us not at all able to understand how any minister of your cabinet can be allowed to do such big scam and it is not known to you. How any minister of your cabinet give cricket as more important than his own assign job. We have only conclusion in our mind that what we learnt was not right. And I humbly request you to please change the course book , so more generation stop at least excepting from you .
Sir, today you said about collation government compromises . I want to inform you Sir, that number of figure that cost for your compromises are out of your calculator to compute. Scam after scam (and these are only the unearthed ones) show how we have created a monster of a system that rewards the evil and threatens the dream of India becoming a "first world" country.
Sir, today you say corruption is a disease. But that sounds a little defeatist. A disease is something inflicted upon us by nature. Corruption isn't caused by little bugs falling from the sky. Corruption comes from unchecked power, that uncheck power of yours.
As a nation we have enormous expertise in covering our backs and not rocking the boat. Right from school, Indians are taught to shut up and not question anything. But Sir, we are living in the great pressure. Pressure of inflation, corruption and many more.
When we thought to feel proud for INDIA, very sad picture came in our mind. I understand, It isn't easy to change things but it needs to be done. And you, of all people, have the best chance of taking this archaic bull by the horns and showing it the right direction.
Respectfully,
Jay Vardhan.
